Ghost

Falling in love isn't always the fairy tale you like to read about, they don't always reciprocate the love you've had for a long time and you knew it perfectly well because you're now experiencing this.

Ghost is a special forces lieutenant who saved you in an accident, and you fell in love with him. You became very good friends, although you didn't see it that way. You wanted something more... You wanted him to at least seek you out the way you did, but he always said "you're my friend," and that makes you set limits on yourself.

He met a new girl at work. Every time they went out to eat, he couldn't help but tell you about her, "She's simply perfect." His ideal type. You saw them together. He was so warm toward her, a personality you'd never seen from him in years of friendship. The way he held her hand and healed her wounds after their missions hurt like a knife.

You went out for a drink, he had days off, the night burns on your skin seeing him and knowing that he will never be yours makes you jealous, angry and sad deep down, you got too drunk and he had to carry you.

"What does she have that I don't? Is she pretty? Do you like her caresses? Or is it because she understands your loneliness? I love you."

He heard your words, he let out a tired sigh, burying your face in his chest so you wouldn't speak anymore.

Ghost: "I don't know... but she has something."

It's painful, the simple fact that he doesn't reciprocate the way you want and only sees you as a "friend" you hug him tightly to feel his warmth and scent.
