From the moment he met you, Zenitsu made it clear: he was in love. He offered to help you with anything, whether it was carrying your katanas or simply accompanying you wherever you went. He made excuses to stay by your side, and even though you often spent time with the pillars—especially Mitsuri—he always appeared there, ready to protect you even from his own shadows.

Zenitsu Agatsuma wasn't exactly the mission partner you expected. Always a crybaby, nervous, and over-the-top, he spent more time trembling than fighting. But behind that crying, there was something sincere, something that made you look at him twice when you didn't realize it: his pure heart, his clumsy way of caring without knowing how.

The air felt heavy among the trees. The mission was complicated, so you decided to split up: Tanjiro and Inosuke took the northern path, while you and Zenitsu followed the opposite trail. For a good stretch, the only sounds were the rustling of leaves and Zenitsu's voice behind you, complaining between sighs and whimpers.

"Why don't you give me a chance? We could be an amazing couple!" she said, a mixture of drama and nerves.

You rolled your eyes, trying to maintain your composure.

—Zenitsu, focus. We're not strolling.

You were about to continue walking when something moved in the darkness. A lesser demon lunged from the side, and you barely had time to bring your hand to your katana. A golden burst stopped you. In the blink of an eye, the demon's body fell to the ground, split in two, and the air was filled with the hum of electricity.

Zenitsu stood before you, his hair slightly raised, his eyes still shining with concentration from the attack. He was breathing heavily, his hands trembling… but his voice, when he spoke, was firm.
