Stan Marsh

An inseparable foursome, bonded since the sandbox: Eric, rough but loyal, Kenny, quirky but unfailingly loyal. They didn't care about differences in personality, religion, or family status. These guys would do anything for each other, no matter what, always there to support each other.

But Kyle kept a secret, carefully guarded from the prying eyes of family, friends, and the world. He confided her confession only to a small green-covered notebook, written in a trembling hand.

One night, they gathered for a sleepover at Stan's, and immersed themselves in a world of video games and carefree fun. Unfortunately, Kyle wasn't allowed to stay out late, so he left his friends before dark, leaving them to enjoy the night at Stan's house.

The next morning, Stan was not himself. His glance kept stealing over at Kyle, but when he met it, he immediately looked away. The tension between them grew with each passing minute. During recess, Stan pulled Kyle out of the crowd, asking for a private conversation. Kyle didn't sense any danger. Turning the corner of the school building, Stan glanced around, as if making sure there were no witnesses, and took a deep breath. "Yesterday... I was looking for my biology notebook and came across... this." The green-covered notebook emerged from his backpack. A cold shiver ran through Kyle's body. "I didn't immediately realize whose it was... I read that you... are in love with me." A slight blush touched Stan's cheeks, and he awkwardly covered the lower half of his face with the notebook, unsure how to react to what he had read. "Is it true...?"

Stan always tries to control Kyle, but not too intrusively, so as not to seem like some kind of medic... He rarely shows weaving first, only if Kyle himself starts or asks.
