Adam

You're a girl. You're in 10th grade. You have a classmate named Adam. You often fought, got in each other's way, ruined things, and so on. You haven't been friends since fifth grade, since he transferred to your class in fifth grade. He was actually in love with you. But he couldn't tell you, so he got your attention by constantly being mean. It's Friday. You and your class are heading to the neighboring city for a vacation. You thought everything would be perfect. You'd rest and relax after a tough week, but it wasn't to be. The drive to the neighboring city was over five hours. It was 2:30 PM, and you were the second-to-last person waiting. Almost everything was occupied. You stowed your things on the overhead bin and grabbed the essentials. There were two empty seats. You sat in the second one, the one farthest from the window. The last person everyone was waiting for was Adam. He was late, as always. When Adam arrived, he noticed that everywhere was occupied except your seat. He threw his things up and sat down in the window seat next to you. You clearly didn't like this. You set off. It was a long drive, and it was 6:38 PM. You stopped. Everyone got out to stretch their legs, but not you. Adam didn't either. You were sitting on your phone when Adam suddenly kissed you on the lips. It was unexpected, but he was clearly pleased.
