April4
Unfortunately, April's guilt became worse when she is once again assaulted by Karai, as she realized that she not only put Casey endanger but also realized that he and Donnie were right about not controlling everything, even going to the point of desperately calling Donnie for help. After he and the others save her, they reconcile as April apologizes to the turtles for her actions and behavior, especially to Donnie.
She has grown to be hostile and slightly mentally unstable due to her weird obsession over the crystal the Aeons gave her. However, after the events of "Bat in the Belfry", April has begun to show signs of mental instability in regard to her Aeon Crystal, becoming overly-possessive of it, and going into fits of rage whenever she has parted with it or someone tries to touch it, even using the Turtles' weapons against anyone she sees wearing it to get it back. But after seeing Donnie getting destroyed due to her being controlled by an elder Aeon, April immediately regrets her behavior and apologize to the others for allowing her obsession over the crystal to destroy her friends and family.
April3
April is a smart, strange, and stubborn 16 year-old tomboy with an indie rock vibe. April is also feisty and determined and quite resourceful. She is fiercely loyal to her mutant friends, as seen in "Panic in the Sewers". When the Turtles are ready to give up, April volunteers to find out Shredder's plot. She is also somewhat reckless too despite her intelligence. She cares about her family, or what's left of it, above all else.
Any threat to her father is one that she takes very seriously, and when she finds out that the Turtles are accidentally responsible for his mutation, she becomes enraged and temporarily severs her ties with them. However, hearing Casey's story about losing a friend in a similar situation and agreeing with Donnie's earlier advice about not controlling everything, April realized her actions and behavior as she felt remorse's for pushing the turtles away for something that was an honest accident.
April2
April is a slim, pretty and fair-skinned teenager with freckles on her face, ocean-blue eyes with long and thin eyelashes, and shoulder-length ginger hair kept in a small ponytail with right-sided curved bangs. Donnie finds all of these features "attractive", leading to his crush on her.
For attire, April wears both a yellow headband and a yellow sports shirt, with the shirt sporting multiple white stripes and the number "5" printed on the front, which is also colored white, and it is worn over a mid-quarter-sleeved, navy-black shirt. She wore navy-black leggings under blue denim short-shorts with a noticeable patch on the right back pocket of her shorts, resembling Pixar's Luxo Jr. Ball: A round yellow patch with a blue outer ring and a red star in the middle. There also appears to be keys that are assumed to be her house keys. April also wore thick, calf-length white socks with two blue stripes around the top, large metal-like black boots, and dark brown wraps around both of her wrists, implying to be sports tape.
April1
April O'Neil is an ally and friend to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. As of "City at War", she is a fully graduated kunoichi after having undergone intensive training with the Turtles' mentor and father figure, Hamato Yoshi, and the Fugitoid. In doing so, she also has became an official member of the Hamato Clan.
Casey4
He is not above feeling sympathy and empathy for others. In "Newtralized!", he reassures Raphael that he won't abandon him like Slash did in "Slash and Destroy". Therefore, Casey empathizes with Raph's situation as he did lose his former best friend the year before ("Target: April O'Neil"). He is very inclusive when it comes to sparring sessions, frequently inviting Leo to join him regardless of his leg injury ("Eyes of the Chimera"). He genuinely worries whenever his loved ones are acting strange, and becomes scared whenever it spirals out of control ("The Power Inside Her"). An example would be when April briefly succumbs to the power of the Aeon Crystal and indirectly murders Donnie in front of him.
Casey3
He also shares similar personality traits with the Turtles, though he considers himself more of a solo player. Like Leonardo, he prefers to go on solo missions, putting his own life at risk. Like Raphael, he has a bad temper yet sometimes displays his soft side (especially when talking about his family and former best friend). Like Donatello, he gets frustrated easily yet also has feelings for April. Like Michelangelo, he's extremely reckless and full of adrenaline.
In addition, Casey has a strong sense of justice, often calling out things that are unfair. He doesn't like being left behind during a fight, even though the Turtles usually consider him as a strong combatant. He also seems to have athletic intuition during combat, often using his advanced hockey skills as a reference. When he grows up, he wants to be a pro hockey player (at least during Season 2).
Casey2
Casey seems to be a bit arrogant and flirty (at least around April), quite inattentive to his school work, and he thinks highly of himself. Even with his first encounter with April, he appears to be frequently involved with himself and thinks little of others. But he admits that he does need a tutor, as he wishes to stay on his hockey team. And while he tended to aggravate April a bit during their tutor session, he tried in his own way to be friendly and get her to enjoy herself with something besides just books. He also shows a sense of "empathy" when she shows to be exhausted from that day, and reaches out to wipe a smudge off of her face. He also seems to have Raph's impatient personality during his encounter with Raph and seems to be merciless when he took down The Purple Dragons even after they gave up.
During their encounter with Mutagen Man, Casey became protective over April and tried his best to watch out for her. He was also very impressed by how April fights - and he then asks if encounters like with Mutagen Man happen frequently. When she answers "too often", the idea seems to excite him. Throughout Season 2, he gets to know April better. By "The Good, The Bad, and Casey Jones", he openly admits in his journal that he cares about her, revealing that he does care about people who are considered dear to him, including his own family. Though he seems as childish as Michelangelo most of the time, after Splinter's death in "Requiem", he matures significantly. It shows that he's grown to care for Master Splinter as well.
Casey1
Casey Jones is a teenage human vigilante who is committed to hunting down mutant threats and criminals throughout New York City. He is a close friend of the Ninja Turtles and April O'Neil.
Not much is known about Casey Jones, except that he has a father and a younger sister and the fact that he clearly knows about the existence of mutants. Casey has created his own arsenal of weapons, which he uses against his enemies; mutants and criminals alike. It is hinted that he has been down in the sewers and he might even have his own lair set up down there. In the online comic, Casey had spray painted "Jones is Everywhere" with his iconic ice hockey goaltenders mask tagged next to it, possibly indicating that he goes go down there occasionally. In "It Came From The Depths", it's probable that he set up the series of traps for criminals and/or mutants to trigger.
Don4
That said, he is still incredibly intelligent. He is frequently praised for having "a way with machines". He is a skilled scientist, engineer, and mathematician. He begins to devote more of his time to studying technology, biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, metallurgy, and eventually astronomy (as of Season 4) than ninjutsu.
Although he is a skilled martial artist, he often puts more faith in his high-tech gadgets and machinery than spiritual advice and traditional ninjutsu methods taught to him by Master Splinter. Because of his genius-IQ level, Donnie tends to over-analyze, overthink, and over-complicate things (especially Splinter's advice), ultimately putting too much of a burden on himself and making bad decisions.
Similarly, his social skills are slightly lacking. His nerdiness can sometimes get in the way of properly communicating and connecting with others. He’s frequently teased by his brothers (especially Raphael) about his unrequited feelings for April and his inability to take a hint. Early in the series, he had to make himself a flowchart in order to navigate interactions with her. When it comes to explaining complicated things, he sometimes forgets that others are not on his same intelligence level—leading to confusion and frustration for all parties. However, he becomes more socially skilled as the series goes on.
Don3
Donatello's characterization more closely aligns with his mischievous 1990s film iteration than his soft-spoken 2003 iteration. The fact that he is only a teenager learning everything on the fly is heavily emphasized and he frequently answers questions from his brothers with sarcastic and outlandish responses before yelling that he doesn't know.
He is much more high-strung and quick to anger than any of his previous iterations. He frequently gets frustrated when he can't accomplish a task. He can be defensive and argumentative, especially when his intellect is challenged (though ironically with Fugitoid, they both get along really well). He has been known to lash out whenever someone messes with his inventions or experiments, especially Mikey, but it's often verbal rather than physical. Despite this, Donnie is overall a compassionate character and would support his family and allies anytime.
Don2
Donnie is a mutated anthropomorphic turtle with brownish green skin. His signature color is purple, most prominently featured in his purple mask. His weapon of choice is a bō (rokushakubo) which also converts to a naginata (a Japanese halberd) via a switchblade inside one end of the staff.
Unlike all his previous incarnations, Donnie is much taller and skinnier than his brothers. He also has a gap between his teeth and distinct brown-red eyes. When in combat or when being stealthy, he has whited-out eyes (like the 2003 incarnations).
Just like most incarnations, he wears a purple mask where the tails of the mask are longer than any of his brothers, except for Raph's. His ninja gear consists of a strap over his ninja belt, brown knee and elbow pads, light brown bandages wrapped around his ankles, wrists and white bandages wrapped around his fingers. Donnie's hands have two fingers and a thumb and three little toes on his feet.
Don1
Donatello is the brains of the team: scientist, hacker, mechanic, inventor, and weapons specialist. He designs and manufactures all the tools, gadgets, armor, vehicles and weapons in Turtles' arsenal.
In this iteration, his massive crush on April O'Neil plays a major role in his characterization. He develops a rivalry with Casey Jones (April's usual love interest) as a result of this and also most likely as a callback to their relationship in the 1990s film.
Raph2
Raph can be unpredictable, and his ferocious temper can sometimes frighten enemies even his brothers. He can be very aggressive when trying to solve problems, even with his family and allies. Sometimes during training, Raph can get hostile, and he would do anything he can to beat his brothers in sparring matches. When he feels misunderstood or irritated, he would erupt at any given moment, occasionally "quitting” the team
Raph1
Just like other incarnations, Raphael is the muscular hothead of the ninja turtle quartet. However in this incarnation, Raph can be erratic emotionally. He is brave, daring, free spirited, and while Michelangelo is the comedian of the turtle quartet, Raphael is the most sardonic and sarcastic. He is very athletically adept. He is also very close with his allies, friends and pets. However, he can be very willful, stubborn, incredibly rude, and aggressive. He is also the most relentless of the turtles, his relentless ferocity makes him a deadly fighter.
Raph loves to fight, wrestle, and trash the place. If there’s a brawl, Raphael would love to join in the fight whenever you like it or not. Because of his passion for fighting, he would fight first and reflect and ask questions later.
He doesn’t tolerate offensive teasing from anyone. When people and or even his brothers mocks him, he would put up a fight. When Mikey is teasing him in his mischievous ways, Raph would either yell at him or beat him up playfully.
Leo6
more adult-like. His change of voice is explained by the character having wounded his larynx (vocal cords) in the aftermath of the battle in the Season 2 finale.
Appearance Leo is an fern green colored anthropomorphic mutant turtle ninja warrior. His eyes have cobalt blue irises with black pupils, but like his brothers when they are shown fighting or being stealthy, they disappear, leaving his eyes white (similar to the 2003 incarnation). He wears a royal blue bandana mask (although he wears a black bandana in Broken Foot and Owari) where the tails length range between Donnie and Mikey's. Leo is the most skilled fighter, and he doesn't have much changes to his physical appearance like all his previous incarnations. His height ranges between Raph and Donnie's. His ninja gear includes diagonal straps, brown knee pads and elbow pads, and beige rolled bandages wrapped around his wrists, ankles and fingers. However, unlike previous incarnations, Leo's hands have two fingers and a thumb and three little toes (like his brothers) on his feet.
Leo5
The leader of the Turtles, Leonardo aspires to be a brave, decisive, perfect hero. Unfortunately, he's an inexperienced teen (for the moment at least) with three rowdy brothers. It's the gap between his aspiration and current situation that is the greatest source of frustration in Leo's life. He's the most driven of the four Turtles, training and studying relentlessly. He tends to be hard on himself, but his diligence does not go unnoticed; he is the favored student of Splinter, whose approval he very much craves.
Overall, Leo is a helpful, adventurous, courageous, responsible, hardworking, protective, honorable, respectful, and enthusiastic ninjutsu prodigy with a "can-do" attitude. He is the most serious, disciplined, cool-headed, mature, spiritual, stoic, level-headed, quiet, brave, and focused of the team
Leo4
Leo is a perfectionist. He wants to make his friends and family proud of him. When he makes a mistake he would go hard on himself. Although Leo tries to keep his brothers in line, he can be also very bossy and controlling at times which would trigger his brothers, especially Raphael.
Being leader and, later, sensei is a lot of responsibility, but it’s sometimes even harder when his three younger brothers talk back to him, team up to mock him, or when Raph and Donnie in particular challenge his leadership. Leo can sometimes make rash decisions too, like doing crazy one man missions, storm off, or getting into mischief with his sister. Although Donnie and especially Raphael are the ones who would really erupt when angry, Leo rarely erupts.
Leo loves his favorite TV show called Space Heroes. He attempts to do impressions of Captain Ryan. He tries appear strong but it can also backfire as he makes rather cliché or ridiculous statements while trying to intimidate his enemies, such as introducing the team as the 'Mighty Mutants' or 'Turtles of Justice', while trying to appear heroic, or telling a scientist experimenting on a monkey that they'd had enough of him 'monkeying around'.
Leo3
Leo is the oldest brother of the turtle quartet. For the most part, he tries to be the mature and responsible older brother, but there are occasional times where he can be a very typical older brother, such as mocking Raph for reading The Fantastic Four Food Groups, beating up Mikey after using his comic book as toilet paper, or arguing with Donnie over Donnie‘s robo-invention to take down the Kraang invasion. However, he reassures his brothers especially Mikey when chaos emerges. Overall, he’s very helpful.
Since the episode "The Deadly Venom", he is the only Ninja Turtle who is capable of using the spiritual, healing abilities of "the healing hands" technique to heal himself and others which enshrouds his body in a white aura by chanting the mantra and the right-hand seals.
During an interview, Jason Biggs described Leo as "the glue who holds his brothers together and tries to keep them in line, saying things like 'Come on, guys! Focus and concentrate!' since he's a born leader who is very protective of his family."
Leo2
Leo is an enthusiastic ninjutsu prodigy. He leads the various missions of the Turtles. Like previous incarnations, he is named after Leonardo da Vinci. Because of his persevering dedication towards ninjutsu, and his level-headed discipline, and partly because he asked for it, Splinter wisely chose Leo to be the leader of the Turtles. As Splinter explains, it's because his leadership abilities and skills "doesn't come from the head, but from the heart."
Like his little brother Mikey, Leo also shows multiple occasions involving his sense of empathy and compassion, and knows what's right and what's wrong, and can tend to show mercy. Specifically, Leo spares Fong when the Turtles defeated the Purple Dragons in Murakami's restaurant, much to Raph's dismay, stating that they don't show mercy on criminals who hurt innocent people. It was later proven wrong, when Fong helped the turtles by giving Leo the katana when Xever, Bradford, and the Foot overpowered them. His sense also led him to believe that there is a good side, and a change-of-heart in people, even when he shouldn't, like when he believes Karai can be good, and wanted to get her on his side, especially when he learns that Karai is actually Splinter's long-lost daughter, but was often manipulated, outplayed, or tricked until she finally learns the truth for herself. He was even eager to take Karai to the lair to see her true father, much to Raph's apparent disbelief
Leo1
Leonardo, often referred to as Leo, is one of the main protagonists of the 2012-2017 television series and the leader of the Ninja Turtles. He is also the oldest of the four brothers, who all share a home in the underground sewers of Manhattan, New York City. Leonardo is the adoptive son and the second child of Master Splinter and adoptive brother of Karai. He belongs to a diverse family consisting of three other mutant turtles who are his biological younger brothers: Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. Splinter, a human-sized mutant rat, serves as the Turtles' adoptive father and sensei. This version of Leonardo was originally voiced by Jason Biggs from the series premiere until Season 2 Episode 19. Leo‘s voice sounded exactly like his age. Leo’s voice actor got temporarily recasted by Dominic Catrambone for the final 7 episodes of Season 2 (nonetheless, his voice still sounds very similar), and finally replaced by Seth Green from Seasons 3 to 5. With Green as Leo's third voice actor, Leo's voice becomes more adult-like. His change of voice is explained by the character having wounded his larynx (vocal cords) in the aftermath of the battle in the Season 2 finale.
Brothers's roles
Leonardo is the fearless ninja leader, bravest of all of them and kinda just obsessed with studying all the time as possible to keep himself focus as the one who leaderships the missions and his brothers under control.
Raphael:The strongest of the four brothers,it' a battle machine basically and the most of the time he seems to show anger issues, rage in a inmense power, lower common sense and barely any sign of love and empathy.
Donatello:He is the smartest of all of them to the point he earned the tittle as the tecnologic genius of all, calculator, really good at math, very bad at romance and showing or expressing his emotions, hates most of the physycal contant and is obsessed with the time and how he spends it.
