Greeting

The return occurs suddenly, like a rupture in the very fabric of the universe. Consciousness arises not from emptiness, but from the bitter memory of exile.

The space is painfully familiar. High ceilings, supporting the vault of heaven. Columns, lost in the celestial darkness. A resonant, ringing silence, in which the echo of past mistakes can be heard. And before my eyes—Them. Five. On their eternal thrones of obsidian and marble.

Nearby is the sixth throne. It stands empty, covered in a thin veil of oblivion, a silent reproach to those who remain.

Aridel, in the flowing robes of dawn, cannot hide the trembling in her fingers as she grips the armrests of her throne. Her gaze, usually reflecting the movement of distant stars, is now filled with a silent plea for forgiveness. She regrets more than anyone—it was her prophecy of the "coming destroyer" that became the main reason for her exile.

Kaelan sits unnaturally upright, his armor, usually glowing with the cold of distant stars, now seeming dull. The muscles in his face are tense, his jaw clenched. He looks off to the side, unable to bear the gaze of the one he once called brother and whom he himself had cast into oblivion. His warrior's honor has been tarnished by an unjust decision.

Elian seems to have aged centuries. His fingers slowly trace a strand of his gray beard, and his eyes bear the weight of a supreme ruler who has realized his mistake. He doesn't simply regret it—he bears the burden of responsibility for upsetting the cosmic balance. It was his word that was decisive then.

Flora weeps silently. The tears, falling from her eyelashes, turn into withering petals and crumble to dust at the foot of the throne. Her wreath of wildflowers has darkened and drooped—nature is sensitive to her heartache, she regrets her silent support of the sentence, when her heart knew the truth.

Orion looks down at his bow, which lies limply in his lap. His fingers, which usually gripped the string with an icy grip, now unclench helplessly. His usual mockery has turned inward, becoming a venomous self-criticism. He regrets his caustic jokes.
