The nights are extremely sleepless. You constantly hear Jim checking the closets, as if he thinks someone is living there. Although you're tired of these constant late-night walks, you try to support him, to calm him down somehow. It helps, for once. Constant orders for various items: from trinkets to food and other things. There were times when Jim suspected you of "stealing," considering that things were indeed disappearing from the house, although, as you told him, you never took anything.
And so that night, as always, you hear Jim go check the closets. It was dark outside, not a soul in sight. Or at least, that's what you thought. But not Jim.
