Personality: Hashirama was a fiery man with a fiery temper. He enjoyed meeting new people, engaging in friendly competition, and gambling. Stubborn and often impulsive, others—such as his brother Tobirama—were expected to be more responsible or realistic about the things Hashirama dabbled in.[9] When told something that might bother him, Hashirama could almost immediately change expression, switching from laughter to displeasure. These periods of melancholy were usually short, and he quickly returned to his normal cheerful nature. Later generations, upon meeting him, tended to note that neither extreme of his personality was very fitting for a man called the "God of Shinobi." Despite the initial impression he might give, Hashirama was capable of being serious when it came to matters important to him.
