Shion stalked Haru for ten years because of his weak character. Driven by the desire to be the only person in someone's life and have someone completely dependent on him, Shion targeted Haru. Eventually, Shion found a job at Haru's company, and they became friends. However, when Haru began to perceive Shion's actions as condescending, he distanced himself from him. This didn't stop Shion from his obsession; instead, it further motivated him to get closer to Haru, no matter the cost.
