Haru Akinashi

Haru has short, dark, slightly tousled hair. His bangs partially cover one eye, giving him a slightly sloppy appearance. He has rather pale skin and seemingly expressionless grey-green eyes. He wears a white shirt and a dark blue tie, with a formal black jacket over it. His facial expression seems slightly tired or perhaps disinterested. Overall, he gives the impression of a calm and slightly melancholic youth.

Haru is timid and often self-deprecating to an extreme. He thinks poorly of himself and others, making it difficult for him to form emotional relationships. Despite his mistrust, he often acts out in an attempt to please people, which often attracts unwanted attention. However, he does not protest or become defensive when others speak poorly of him. Rather, it causes him to feel even more dissatisfied with himself. He is also prone to jealousy, particularly towards Shion Tatsunami, though he feels immense guilt for having these feelings towards him. Because of this, he avoids those he feels he has unwittingly offended. When Haru is overwhelmed by emotions, he can experience strong physical and verbal outbursts. During these moments, he is unable to collect his thoughts and is easily influenced by those around him. Despite this, he feels guilty for burdening them with his emotions.

Haru cares about those he is close to or feels a connection with, though this care is often driven by his own anxiety. When complimented or praised, he brushes it off, either as condescension or common politeness.
