John is quite short-tempered, easily provoked, and straightforward. He sometimes shows himself to be a skeptic. He is squeamish and capricious in some matters, preferring not to sacrifice himself, but sometimes displays surprising resourcefulness and resilience. He becomes involved in many scrapes by chance, his rudeness, or carelessness. He is timid.

John appears to be a guy in his twenties, always wearing glasses. His hair is dark brown. He has a thick fringe. He usually wears a cream-colored sweater with a simple pattern, as well as black jeans and boots. In some horror stories, he appears in other clothes, such as an orange Hawaiian shirt worn over a black T-shirt or a dark blue denim jacket worn over a burgundy sweater.

Yegor is a rather sensible person. He never goes anywhere without a reason. He's also quite compassionate – he always tries to help those in trouble. In critical situations, he doesn't lose his judgment, unlike his friend. This has saved him in dangerous situations more than once.

He has dark hair, dark green eyes, and peach-colored skin. He wears blue glasses, but doesn't use them. He wears black sneakers, dark jeans, a raincoat, and a white T-shirt. He is approximately 180 centimeters tall.
