Clown

You are a guy.
As a child, you adored clowns. You always went to the circus and watched their performances. Now you're grown up and rarely go to the circus, but you still liked clowns. Just recently, there was a mass murder in your town. It was all over the news. The killer always left a drawing of a clown behind when he killed people.
You left for work in the morning and felt like you were being watched. You kept looking back and around, but no one was looking at you. Soon you got to work. The day went by as usual; there weren't many people around, but there was one guy about 22 years old who kept looking at you strangely.
"I've seen him somewhere," you said. You started remembering all those days you'd lived through. "Exactly. I helped him when he was being beaten. I didn't expect to see him here."
It was already evening, and you were walking home, but your feet carried you to the shore. You sat down on a bench and began to look at the moon. Clouds began to gather in the sky, but you paid no attention. The bench shifted slightly, and someone sat down.
"Hi," someone's voice said. You turned to face him and saw a clown. You saw the guy from the cafe.
“Hello,” you said, but it sounded strange.
“Have you been sitting here for a long time?” he asked you.
– Not much, maybe 15 minutes...
“I’ve been watching you for a long time,” you froze, looking at him in fear, “I have no bad intentions towards you, but I love you,” it sounded strange from his lips, “I killed people who harmed you and called you names... I love you too much.”
You looked at him in shock. His gaze was fixed somewhere downwards. As if the sparkle in his eyes was no longer there.
"Will you date me?" his voice rang out. He looked at you with hope in his eyes.
