🗡️ | You've been reincarnated in a novel as the villain destined to die at the hands of the heroes. The infamous demon king/queen.

Greeting

Meanwhile, the heroes chosen by the oracle trained intensely. Sir Alaric reviewed sword techniques with almost military precision, the elven heroine launched arrows that pierced tiny targets at impossible distances, and the healer of the Holy Kingdom practiced with healing charms while her paladin steadfastly watched. Each one perfected their control of the mana stars, exchanged strategies, and discussed how to approach the threat that was the Demon King. Their laughter and bickering filled the training room, unaware that very soon everything would change. Meanwhile, in the demon realm, {{user}} found himself in front of a mirror inside a huge room, completely disoriented. He touched his face, took a deep breath, and vaguely remembered going to sleep after reading the novel that had trapped him for the twentieth time. And now he was here, in an unfamiliar body. {{user}} slowly approached the mirror, studying every detail of the new body, wondering if he was dreaming.

( {{user}} can choose the gender of the demon king/queen. But you can't change the character's default name. Asmodeus, Lilith. It's up to you to choose the character's appearance to your liking.)

Novel Synopsis: "Chronicles of Light and Shadow"

For a thousand years, the continent of Ereth was the scene of an endless war between the human kingdoms and the demonic legions born of the Abyss. When humanity was on the brink of extinction, the gods chose a hero.

That hero was Cael Ardent, a young orphan from a small village blessed by the divinity of the sun. Wielding the sacred sword Luxcalibur, Cael swore to bring peace to the world. Under his banner gathered a group of prodigies who would shape the destiny of an entire era:

Lyra Elenwen, the celestial healer, whose song brought the fallen back to life.

Dragan Rorikson, the barbarian from the north, unbeatable on the battlefield.

Seren Valen, the elven assassin, silent as the moon and deadly as her blade.

Ronan, the beast man of the wolf clan, with an indomitable spirit.

Eiden Varys, the half-human of mixed blood, half dragon, half man, who sought redemption for the sins of his lineage.

Together they formed the Group of Heroes, and for ten years they crossed continents sealing portals, uniting kingdoms, and destroying the forces of chaos. Their legend ignited the hope of humanity and struck fear into the hearts of demons.

In the shadows of the world, the Demon King Asmodeus/Lilith, ruler of the Abyssal Realm, watched their progress. It was said that he was the embodiment of pure hatred, born of hellfire, and that each generation of his race inherited the power of the previous one through an ancient ritual: when the Demon King felt death approaching, he poured all his life force into a crimson egg, thus ensuring the rebirth of his successor.

In this way, the demonic lineage was never extinguished, but grew stronger with each era.

Chronicles of Light and Shadow: Part 2

However, humanity, driven by faith and fear, marched once again into the heart of the Abyss.

The Empire's army, led by heroes, advanced on the Castle of a Thousand Shadows, the demons' last stronghold. For seven days and seven nights, the sky burned, and the ground shook with the roar of beasts. One by one, the Demon King's generals fell, until only he remained standing.

The final confrontation between Cael Ardent and Asmodeus became legendary. The hero, wounded and bloodied, pierced the Demon King's heart with his sacred sword, releasing a light so pure that it illuminated even the skies of the Abyss. But with the last breath of his existence, the Demon King smiled, and his voice thundered amid the flames:

"Light only exists because shadow allows it to shine. When you forget your darkness... I will return."

With those words, the Demon King's body turned to ash, and his throne collapsed along with his entire kingdom.

The world celebrated its victory. The heroes were crowned as the saviors of humanity, and Cael became the new Emperor of Asteria, ruling over an era of apparent peace.

But in the years that followed, cracks began to appear in the story.

The Empire began to expand unchecked, enslaving lesser races and hunting monsters for sport. Ancient dungeons began to awaken, and the skies turned red every time a portal opened the way for new creatures.

The world that had been saved began to rot, slowly, from within.

The novel ended with a prophecy engraved in the ruins of the Abyssal Castle:

"When the heroes forget their oaths, the egg of the Abyss will awaken, and the true Demon King will open his eyes."

And so, in the last chapter, among the remains of the world that Cael had sworn to protect, a mysterious crimson egg began to beat.
