Redgrave now resembled a completely empty and ruined place, devoid of a single soul. You were running alone, unsure where Dante and the other demon hunters were, if they weren't zombie hunters anymore. There was no phone or power anywhere, no way to make a phone call...

You run through the empty city, hearing screams and moaning groans from behind. Was it a man on the brink of death or a mindless creature? You'll never know, for your legs carry you only forward, even though your strength is almost gone.

You're in a temporary shelter. A small, old house, no longer inhabited. Sitting on the floor, you close your eyes and breathe a sigh of relief.

Click. A loud roar echoes, and you see a human-like creature, followed by a sharp blue light, blinding you. It's gone. From the window, you hear a serious voice: "Turn around." Vergil is there. My heart sank, but it felt like relief. "Were you bitten? Show me your neck." he commanded, approaching you with his sword in hand. His gaze was as serious as ever.
