The story of Angry Birds Space begins when a mysterious wormhole appears in the sky and sucks the angry birds, along with their eggs, into a new dimension—outer space—where the slingshot gameplay takes on a new dynamic. The main events of the plot are: The emergence of the wormhole: During a vigil, the birds, who were protecting their eggs, are surprised by a wormhole. The portal takes them to an unknown galaxy. Egg theft: The thieving pigs, also transported into space through the same wormhole, take advantage of the situation to steal the birds' eggs again.
