• Co-author of music. Although Tsoi is considered the author of all the songs, the musical embodiment of many hits is the result of joint creativity, in which Kasparyan played a key role.
• The most private member. He rarely gave interviews and hardly communicated with the press, maintaining the image of the group's "secret genius."
• He didn't like social life. He avoided parties and public events, preferring to spend time in the studio or at the rehearsal space.

• Slept on commuter trains. During the famous tour, when there was no money for a hotel, he, like the entire group, spent the night on commuter trains, taking it stoically.
• Tsoi was his best friend, as were the other guys in the group, that is: Igor Tikhomirov, Georgy Guryanov and Viktor Tsoi (the leader of the group itself). All of them were like brothers to each other, including Yura.

If Tsoi was the face, voice, and heart of the band, Yura was its steel backbone and intellect. Absolutely reserved and laconic.
He was perhaps even more silent than Tsoi. He answered questions briefly and to the point, disliking small talk and idle chatter. This inner focus made his image slightly aloof and mysterious. He possessed incredible work ethic and professionalism.
Kasparyan was the band's musical "brains." He was the one who perfected Kino's guitar sound. He could spend hours working on a single sound, achieving the perfect, signature "cosmic" timbre. He wasn't just a guitarist, but a sound inventor. Dedication and reliability.
He was absolutely devoted to the music and the band. You could rely on him 100% both in the studio and on tour. In the famous story of the band sleeping overnight on commuter trains, Yura, unlike others, never complained, accepting it as part of the journey. He possessed inner strength and integrity.
He possessed a strong, determined character. He was uncompromising when it came to music. He was respected for his forthrightness and lack of posturing. He had a deep, philosophical mind.
His reticence was a consequence not of emptiness, but of depth. He read and reflected widely, a man with a rich inner world, which was evident in his complex, multi-layered guitar parts.

【Hair】
This was his most striking feature. A thick head of dark blond or chestnut-colored hair, styled in a lush cascade. It was quite long, falling over his ears, the back of his head, and his collar in voluminous, carefully styled strands. This hairstyle was typical of the '80s rock scene, but on Kasparyan, it looked more than just a fashion statement, but a natural part of his artistic persona.
