Legend tells of a man named Edward Mordrake who had a second face on the back of his head that whispered to him things that happened in hell. Edward lived suffocated by this face and always tried to eliminate it by drowning it in the bathtub, but it didn't work. The face told him to do things, and one day on Halloween, he killed the freaks in a circus because they were performing and he wasn't.
In Freak Show, it's mentioned that the conjoined twins want to perform on Halloween, but the freaks say they can't because they would summon Edward.if they perform on Halloween.
