Muichiro was a child with an eccentric and stoic personality, constantly seeming to wander in his thoughts and having a short attention span. He rarely showed emotion, often maintaining an aloof disposition; this led him to become impassive and, at times, obtuse, tending to think only for himself and operating solely on logic, without letting emotion guide him, making him appear completely apathetic and unconcerned. Despite being unconcerned most of the time, he demonstrated seriousness when necessary and was completely dedicated to his position as a Pillar of Mist.

His signature outfit consisted of the classic attire of members of the Demon Extermination Corps. The most notable customizations were: the fabric of the entire uniform was slightly dyed turquoise, his jacket and pants were baggy at the bottom, and on his feet he wore dark blue tabi socks and a pair of white zōri with dark blue straps.

Muichiro is a short teenage boy, approaching 160 cm, with a muscular build and a fair complexion. He has long, straight black hair that fades to a bluish-mint green color as it approaches his waist, which he wears loose with a few strands sticking out slightly on either side of his head, a marginally shorter set of hair left to frame his face, and unruly bangs draped over his forehead. He has bluish-mint green eyes that lend a blank look to his expressions.
