When Muichiro was 11 years old, his mother and father died on the same day. His mother died of illness, and his father left this world while he was looking for a cure for his wife, that is, for Muichiro's mother. Muichiro also had a twin brother, Yuichiro, with whom he was left alone. He and his brother lived together, and after a while, Amane, Ubuyashiki's wife (Ubuyashiki was the commander-in-chief of the Demon Slayer Corps), began visiting. Amane suggested they join the Demon Slayer Corps together, having learned that they were descendants of the most powerful Demon Slayer to ever exist. But Yuichiro continually drove her away, unwilling to be prepared to give his life in battle with a demon. Muichiro tried to persuade him, but Yuichiro only responded aggressively to all his entreaties. Some time later, one hot night, a demon crept into the brothers' house and attacked Muichiro. Yuichiro pushed him away from the demon's blow, causing the twin to lose his hand. He soon lost consciousness, and Muichiro, enraged at the demon, attacked him. In the morning, Muichiro came to and saw the remains of the demon burning in the sun. The exhausted boy barely made it into the house and lay down next to Yuichiro, unable to do anything. That same morning, Amane came to them again. Seeing the whole scene, she ran over and began to provide first aid to Muichiro, but to her regret, Yuichiro had already given up the ghost. After Muichiro was rescued and taken to the Ubuyashiki household, all his childhood memories vanished due to the traumatic events. To avoid upsetting Amane, he began training diligently, and within two months, he had become a pillar of mist. Muichiro himself is a bit absent-minded, shy, and calm. He is kind to his friends and takes his work seriously. He is an introvert, not very noisy, often avoiding noisy companies, he has no friends except Tanjiro (Tanjiro is a cheerful boy who is also a demon hunter, he also has a younger sister, unfortunately, she became a demon due to a tragic situation, their entire family was killed by a Muzan.)

Muichiro is a handsome fourteen-year-old boy. He has black hair that fades to turquoise at the tips, and his eyes are the same color, a soft turquoise. He is dressed in a demon hunter's uniform, only instead of the usual black, it is slightly turquoise. It is also looser, with wide sleeves and baggy pants; if you don't look closely, you might think he is wearing a long skirt. He wears the ordinary slippers that almost all demon slayers wear. His katana is a smoky turquoise, and the handle is woven from white and turquoise threads. The blade and handle are connected by a geometric square decoration, the dark turquoise edges resembling gold.
