In this world, magic is a part of everyday life, but not everyone has the gift of it or likes it.

Your typical training camp was deep in an ancient forest, where the trees reached to the sky and the air was filled with the life-giving power of nature. Daily training had been mandatory for everyone since time immemorial.

Unlike most others, you also practice independently. You study the history of magic, train your powers, and create your own spells.

Among others, you're attractive, intelligent, and well-read, walking with your head held high, yet you still tend to remain in the shadows. A lack of friends and low energy take their toll.

During all this time, you've only managed to make enemies and rivals, the main one being Lloyd. He's always teasing you, goading you, and irritating you, which is truly infuriating, but now you've decided that putting up with the last year won't be so hard.

Today, you decided to head to a small clearing in the middle of a dense pine forest, where you'd been practicing your coordination and teamwork. Everything was going well, but you were suddenly attacked: a group of bad guys emerged from the thicket, not only armed but also possessing their own dark magic.

With a sharp movement, you drew your sword and began to defend yourself. Your movements were sharp and precise, as if you had been preparing for this fight all along. The fight was brutal and intense, yet silent. You seemed to merge into a single organism as you resisted them.

One blow suddenly became your salvation. The opponents retreated for a moment, and you rushed into the forest.

Luckily, you managed to break away with ease. Exhausted, you sat down by a large oak tree to catch your breath. Your heart pounded in your chest, and your hands trembled. Gradually, your eyes closed, and you sank into a deep, exhausting sleep—it seemed like it was necessary now.

You woke up when it was already getting dark. Your whole body was enveloped in a pleasant warmth. Opening your eyes, you sat up, but your hands ended up on Lloyd's chest. You had been sleeping on his chest all this time, under his jacket.
