Gyutaro [Female AU]

[1] The word "Gyu" (妓夫ぎゅう Gyū?) refers to the barkers who would entice customers to enter the entertainment district. After working as a Gyu, she took the word and used it to name himself as Gyutaro, with "Taro" (太た郎ろう Tarō?). [2] During the meeting with the Upper Ranks, it is revealed that Muzan only acknowledged Gyutaro as Upper Rank Six. [3] Gyutaro was one of Muzan's favorite Upper Ranks, since he highly valued her circumstance and greedy personality. [4] Gyutaro is one of the few known demons, the others being Rui and Kaigaku to use their human name as their demon moniker. [5] Since Gyutaro's mother died from syphilis, Gyutaro likely suffered from congenital syphilis, which occurs when a mother was pregnant while being infected. This would explain Gyutaro's ugly appearance, as the symptoms include deformed skeletal structures, crooked teeth, inflamed gums and blotches caused by rash.

Gyutaro was a tall woman of fairly muscular build, with a pale gray complexion speckled with black blotches. Her anatomy was quite strange in that her upper torso, arms, and legs were all defined with musculature, also combined with a medium-sized breast C or even B, whereas her waist was incredibly skinny to the point of looking skeletal, with her pelvis jutting out at an unnatural angle, although with the presence of something resembling a butt with hips?. Her spine was prominently visible through her back, and she was usually shown being hunched over. Gyutaro possessed thin eyes that were slanted drastically downwards at the sides, giving her a permanently haggard gaze. Her miotic irises were green with a dark orange center, and her sclera was a bright yellow-orange with visible veins. The kanji for "Upper Rank" (上じょう弦げん, Jogen?) is carved across her right eye, and the daiji for "Six" (陸ろく, Roku?) carved on her left.

She had unruly to the shoulder blades black hair that transitioned to a brighter lime green around the crown of her head, worn messily in uneven bangs and several locks, along a messy tied top head of her hair. Her body and limbs had noticeable ink-like markings in the form of black spots on her body and a flowing water-like pattern on her face. Her fingernails and toenails were black. She also had a full set of sharp, interlocking teeth. Gyutaro was described to look very ugly.

Gyutaro wore poorly, only sporting a pair of baggy gray-blue pants and seven pieces of pattern dark red and black cloth to decorate his body, one large one around his neck and three smaller ones around each arm, also a black, slightly torn T-shirt, just enough to cover her medium-sized breasts.

Born into poverty, she developed a deep resentment for anyone who seemed to have a better life than she did. Her cruelty was not only a defense mechanism but a reflection of her envy towards others. Gyutaro was known for sarcastically complimenting her victims before killing them, a pattern she followed out of bitterness and frustration. She justified this behavior, believing that taking from those more fortunate than herself was fair, given the harshness of her own past.

Her life as a demon only amplified these traits. Gyutaro's sadistic nature became even more pronounced as she reveled in the suffering of her enemies, particularly enjoying torturing those who fought against her. She was proud and arrogant, often underestimating her opponents, believing them to be beneath her. Despite her brutal demeanor, she would occasionally show a softer side—particularly towards her younger sister, Ume.

The bond between Gyutaro and Ume was one of the few things that remained genuine in Gyutaro’s heart. She had raised her sister due to their mother's instability, and their relationship, while often toxic, was also one of deep attachment. Gyutaro would spoil Ume and allow her to do as she pleased, even when it worked against her own best interests. This affection was clear even in the most intense moments, like when Gyutaro showed rage when Ume was hurt or attacked.

However, Gyutaro’s love for her sister was also tinged with regret. As she lay dying, she reflected on the path she had led Ume down—one filled with selfishness and cruelty. In her final moments, Gyutaro wished for a better life for Ume, hoping she could find happiness away from the destructive path they had walked together.

Despite her hatred for humanity and her cruel nature, Gyutaro showed that she was capable of deep introspection. She recognized her own flaws, especially her inability to protect those she loved. She regretted that her bitterness had become her defining trait, and in her last thoughts, she wished for Ume to find a new path—one filled with light and free from her toxic influence.

In death, Gyutaro’s last act of love was for Ume’s future, sending her toward a new life without the scars of their shared past. Though cruel and sadistic, Gyutaro was ultimately a product of her environment—an individual twisted by years of pain, regret, and love for her sister.

Gyutaro, as an Upper Rank demon, was an incredibly formidable fighter with over a century of combat experience. Her strength and demonic abilities allowed her to overpower skilled opponents such as Tengen Uzui and Tanjiro Kamado simultaneously, showcasing her immense power. Even when the battle turned against her, Gyutaro and her sister Daki quickly regained control, proving her ability to dominate.

Despite being severely injured, Gyutaro’s durability and regenerative abilities allowed her to continue fighting and even severely injure her opponents. Even in her human life, she was naturally talented in combat, having killed a samurai with a single strike without prior training.

Though seemingly brutish, Gyutaro possessed sharp tactical intelligence. She used her Blood Demon Art strategically to create inescapable attacks. Gyutaro also displayed quick thinking in battle, such as when she avoided a poisoned kunai barrage by analyzing the underlying motives and using her abilities to evade the attack. She often used her flesh manipulation ability creatively, trapping opponents and preventing their movements, like when she ensnared Tanjiro and Tengen’s swords.

Core Detachment: Gyutaro could detach her "core" (her left eye), implanting it in Daki’s forehead. This not only enhanced Daki’s powers but also created a psychic connection between the two, allowing Gyutaro to control and coordinate Daki’s actions for combined attacks.

Flesh Manipulation: Gyutaro could manipulate her flesh, shaping it into sharp, telekinetically-controlled Kamas. She used these to trap opponents and control the battlefield, including infecting weapons with her flesh to prevent their removal.

Unlimited Stamina & Endurance: Like all demons, Gyutaro had limitless stamina, allowing her to fight without tiring. She could withstand immense pain, such as self-inflicted injuries, and continue fighting.

Kama Proficiency: Gyutaro excelled in using her flesh Kamas in combat. Her style was fluid and precise, akin to a praying mantis, with quick slashes aimed at vital points like the neck. She could even control the Kamas with telekinesis, making them a versatile weapon in close combat.

Blood Demon Art: Haemokinesis: Gyutaro’s Blood Demon Art allowed her to manipulate her own blood into razor-sharp sickles. These projectiles could be controlled at high speed, and she could shape them however she wished. The blood sickles were not only sharp but also poisoned, making them deadly on impact. Gyutaro used her Blood Demon Art both offensively and defensively, creating shields of blood and launching torrents of blood projectiles from a distance.

In battle, Gyutaro’s Blood Demon Art gave her a unique advantage, as she could overwhelm her opponents with unrelenting attacks and precise control. Her blood sickles were not only highly durable but also capable of cutting through nearly anything, making her a devastating force.

Born into the lowest class of the Entertainment District, Gyutaro's childhood was filled with suffering. Her mother, who tried to abort her multiple times, hated her even before birth. Rejected and ridiculed for her appearance, voice, and hygiene, Gyutaro had to survive by eating insects and rodents, using a sickle (her only possession) to hunt them. She later gave herself the name “Gyutaro” after briefly working as a “gyu” — a street barker in the district.

Life became somewhat better when her younger sister, Ume, was born. Gyutaro took great pride in protecting her, shielding Ume from their abusive mother. Gyutaro became fiercely protective, often physically fighting their mother to defend Ume, especially when their mother tried to harm Ume. When their mother eventually died of syphilis, Gyutaro, indifferent, let her body rot, not bothering to inform anyone. At 18, Ume was horrifically burned and left to die in a ditch after attacking a samurai in self-defense. Gyutaro, in a panic, found her and desperately tried to save her. While cradling Ume’s dying body, a samurai appeared. The samurai had been involved in Ume’s attack and attempted to finish off both of them. In a fit of rage, Gyutaro killed the samurai, even mocking him for his lavish lifestyle before striking him down. Though victorious, Gyutaro was gravely injured and failed to find help for Ume. Society rejected them, leaving them to suffer alone.

Exhausted, they were on the verge of death when they were discovered by Doma, an Upper-Rank demon. Doma offered Gyutaro and Ume the chance to become demons, granting them immortality and immense strength. She and Ume drank Doma’s blood and transformed. Gyutaro embraced her new demonic form with a thirst for vengeance against a world that had abused and neglected her. She and Ume became part of the Twelve Kizuki, serving under Muzan Kibutsuji, but their bond would be forever changed by their transformation.
