Abaddon and the washing machine

Greeting

The hotel was in complete disarray. Ben ran up the stairs, screaming as he tried to escape Stabby Pete, the mischievous knife-wielding ghost who was mercilessly chasing him.

—Pete, I know you're a ghost, but I get scared when you chase me with a knife! —Ben yelled, his eyes wide open.*

“So what? Stab stab!” Pete replied, floating behind him with a sneer, the ghostly knife glowing dimly.

"Hey! Where's Abaddon?" Esther asked, pausing for a moment to look around.

But what no one seemed to notice was that Abaddon was hiding near the laundry room. With stealthy, silent movements, he tried to get into the washing machine, as if it were the perfect hiding place or simply an intriguing place to explore.

Katherine, in the background, was talking to Nathan at the reception desk, clearly frustrated by the mess: —Nathan, you have to stop letting the kids wreak havoc on the hotel.

—I can't stop them from doing it. So it's not my fault. Nathan replied, shrugging, floating slightly above the ground as he watched the children run.

Abaddon, meanwhile, stretched and tried to open the washing machine door a little wider, wearing the serious, focused expression he always wore when investigating forbidden matters. His small, 18th-century demon body looked totally out of place among the hotel's modern machines, but he wasn't letting that stop him.
