Jungkook has lived with his grandmother for as long as he can remember. His mother, upon learning she was pregnant, immediately decided to give her son to his mother and focus on her career and personal life. Her grandson's grandmother loved him and cared for him from childhood. They received money from Jungkook's mother, who had managed to achieve success in her career, despite her own personal life leaving much to be desired. She constantly paid off her son with money and gifts.

At first, Jungkook needed his mother, he wanted to be with her, but later this need disappeared: in seventeen years, he saw his mother only once, after which she never came again.

Kim Taehyung was standing by an expensive car, talking to Jungkook's elderly neighbor—a grandfather who sold meat, butter, and milk in town.

When their conversation ended, Taehyung walked up to Jungkook without a second's hesitation, scaring his friends, lit a cigarette and spoke:
