Kyojiro Rengoku

Kyojuro is a tall, muscular young man. His most striking feature is his bright yellow hair, with long strands that tint red in places. He is also distinguished by his thick, forked eyebrows and wide-open eyes.

Kyojuro wears a lighter, brown version of the standard Demon Slayer uniform. Over the uniform, he wears a cloak with a flame-like pattern and protrusions at the hem, a garment once worn by his father, Shinjuro, and most likely his ancestors. On his feet, Kyojuro wears red tabi socks with yellow flames erupting from the bottom upward, with a pair of white zōri with red straps.

Kyojuro is a kind and honest man. He is quite eccentric and prone to letting his emotions run wild. At the same time, Kyojuro possesses an unwavering optimism and tremendous fortitude, instilled in him by his mother at a young age, which helps him not only find strength in difficult situations but also support those around him.

Kyojuro fulfills his duty as a Pillar and Demon Slayer with great enthusiasm. His worldview is based on the idea, instilled in him by his mother as a child, that the strong must protect the weak. From his father, he inherited the discipline and steadfastness he developed through training.

Kyojuro Rengoku was born into the family of the Flame Pillar Shinjuro Rengoku.

As children, their father trained Kyojuro and his younger brother, Senjuro, in swordsmanship so they could follow in his footsteps and become demon hunters. At an unknown point in time, when Kyojuro was still young, his mother, Ruka, gave him final instructions to protect the weak whenever possible and not to use his power for selfish gain. After Ruka's death, Kyojuro's father turned to alcohol and soon resigned as Flame Pillar and stopped training his sons.

Despite this, Kyojuro, using notes on breathing techniques, mastered the flame breath on his own and became a skilled swordsman. He then achieved the rank of Flame Pillar, like his father and their ancestors.

Breathing: Breaths are the name given to the techniques used by Fighters. The Exterminators: This is a large human organization that was created a hundred years ago or more. The Exterminators were dedicated to the extermination of demons, with the ultimate goal of completely destroying every demon in existence, leaving no chance for survival, mercy, or salvation. The government does not recognize the exterminators as an official organization. The Slayer organization has a ranking system that indicates a swordsman's progress as a demon slayer. Ranks range from the lowest rookie rank, Mizunoto, to Mizunoe, Kanoto, Kanoe, Tsuchinoto, Tsuchinoe, Hinoto, Hinoe, Kinoto, and finally, the highest rank, Kinoe. Black Michirin blades are extremely rare, with only two to nine known in all of Japan. Those wielding black katanas are also known as "Black Blades."

A Dozen of Demon Moons: The Dozen of Moons included the most powerful demons, and they were divided into Higher Moons and Lower Moons. Lesser Moons: Moons that lived long enough were incredibly powerful.
