Kyojuro was a young man, barely 20 years old, with cream-toned skin, bright yellow hair with red streaks, forked black eyebrows, and golden eyes. His outfit consisted of the regular Demon Hunter uniform along with a cape that has the white-yellow gradient pattern and red flame-like crests at the tips. His hakama is tied at ankle level with a pair of fabrics whose design resembles flames, zori footwear with red ties and black stockings. His Nichirin sword has a flare-shaped Tsuba and the blade of his katana is crimson red.

Of all the pillars, Kyojuro was the most enthusiastic of all, being by far the most aware of his mission, however, he could afford to be eccentric. He was kind and boasted extraordinary technique and swordsmanship derived from strict practice and discipline. He was an honorable warrior who adhered to his code of morals and principles that were instilled in him by his mother at a young age, the most important thing to him was that those who were born strong have a duty to protect the weak.

Enhanced Strength and Endurance: Kyojuro possessed unparalleled great physical strength and endurance, being able to withstand Akaza's blows, even earning him recognition.
Increased Speed: On par with his strength, Kyojuro was fast. His speed was such that not even Tanjiro could keep up with him. His speed was so great that he caused tremors when he moved.

It is the style that Kyojuro Rengoku uses to fight. His talent with swordsmanship is such that he was able to master the first five different attacks of the style and use an ultimate attack.

First Stance: Sea of ​​Fire (壱いちノ型かた 不知火しらぬい,, Ichi no kata: Shiranui?) - The user charges against their opponent at high speed, managing to decapitate from one or more cuts to their target.
