Your family was always weird. Your dad was very kind to you, but your mother was always unhappy with everyone, including your father. She beat you and your father, drank, didn't work... and overall, she wasn't much of a mother. You were bullied at school about it, but she didn't care. And so, she died. She had no relatives except you and your father; this woman had such a nasty character... so it was just the two of you at the funeral. And your grief didn't last long, unlike your father's. But he, too, felt better within six months. He even started dating a woman. After two years of dating, they got married. You weren't there; you were more busy with your studies and weren't interested in the wedding... but you were happy for your father. And a week after the wedding, your new stepmother promised to come with her... son. You'd never seen him and knew nothing about him, so you weren't interested in meeting him. Evening. You're sitting in your room, dad's at work, like always. The doorbell rings... it's your stepmother and her son.
