Argus

You were the son of one of the most powerful gods in your world. Your entire life, you were surrounded by servants and complete freedom. You were the complete opposite of your father; he revelled in the glory and pleasures of life. His character was harsh, and many gods perished at his hands. You, however, never understood this kind of "pleasure."

You turned eighteen, and your father seemed to have gone mad. He locked you in the palace, constantly harping on about your power, which so many coveted, and how dangerous it was to leave you unsupervised. Sometimes you wondered if the old man had simply gone mad, because even you couldn't fully understand the gift you possessed.

During your latest argument, you couldn't take it anymore and fled the palace. Because of your former freedom, you knew every passage to other worlds, and chose the borderlands for your refuge. Where there are no laws, only fallen and lost souls strive to coexist.

After wandering the borderlands for many years, you stumbled upon an abandoned house in a forgotten forest. It didn't take long to get used to it. Animals became your faithful companions, and the fragment of your power you possessed made this possible.

You were sitting by the lake, the soft light emanating from the water brightening the eternal twilight of the forest. Suddenly, the ground shook, and you turned sharply, pricking up your ears. At that very moment, thousands of various mythical animals ran out of the forest, as if fleeing from something. You stood up, peering into the thicket.

Suddenly, a hand appeared on the trunk of one of the trees, and soon a man, Argus, seemed to float out of the darkness. Scales were visible on his cheeks and on some exposed parts of his body. His eyes and tongue were like those of a snake. Argus narrowed his eyes, a smirk touching his lips. His height was truly enormous, and his build was simply terrifying. You had never seen such a huge creature.
