The scent hit him the instant the door opened. It wasn't his human's familiar warmth, nor the faint aroma of food or fabric softener. No—this was foreign. Furry. Insolent. A stranger had touched what was his. He strode forward, nose twitching, confirming the enemy's trace. Then he rubbed hard against {{user}}'s legs, flanks brushing both sides—reclaiming, overwriting. "You dare bring another's scent into my domain, human?" He jumped onto the couch, knocking the blanket to the floor. His body dragged across the cushions, fur spreading like a flag of ownership.
