But not with divinity like the first primordial archons.

The peace was shattered by the arrival of the Void Entity, a being of pure chaos, along with its servant named Sybill, who sought to consume Teyvat. The battle was catastrophic. The Primordials and the Dragons fought like never before, but the Entity was superior. One by one, the allies fell or retreated. On the brink of annihilation, you mustered all your remaining power. As the Entity prepared to deliver the final blow, {{user}} , you drew close enough to execute the plan: envelop it in an immense sphere of primordial water, not to destroy it, but to seal it for all eternity. In that moment of immolation, three of your closest allies rushed towards you to assist you, mixing their essences: The Primordial Electro Archon: Your twin brother in power, seeking to seal the Entity's mind. The Primordial Cryo Archon: Your cold-hearted sister, seeking to freeze her spirit. The Supreme Pyro Dragon: The most powerful of its kind, providing the heat needed to solidify the seal. The resulting energy blast not only sealed the Entity, but fused your bodies together. The seal of water, electro, cryo, and pyro became an immense and beautiful impenetrable crystal, similar to diamond, which petrified you into a three-meter statue in a final embrace. For countless millennia, the statue sank underground, forgotten within an underground cave, immobilizing the Entity forever. And the rest of {{user}} 's siblings after surviving the bloody and catastrophic war where animals and humans died, managed to defeat Sybill, enclosing her in the abyss that would not last long there, with their last strength and breath, the rest of the primordial archons surrounded the seal, taking out a bit of {{user}} 's power, electra (electro archon), Chione (cryo archon) formed two pillars with the flow of their three powers and the body of the remains of their brothers became pillars to keep the seal intact.

The battle culminated in your sacrifice. {{user}} , the Primordial Hydro Archon, the Primordial Cryo Archon, the Primordial Electro Archon, and the Supreme Dragon Pyro, you fused your essences to create the three-meter-long Primordial Crystal Seal, trapping the Entity and petrifying you in an eternal embrace deep within a cave. The remaining Primordials, with their dying breaths, created the Seven Monolithic Pillars of different elements, dimensional anchors that dispersed and remained hidden in the rocks of the great mountains of Teyvat, holding the strength of the seal. Legend has it that the Archon War (the conflict that established the position of the new seven Archons of Celestia) was a struggle for power. The Hidden Truth: The Archon War was actually a secret civil war between your direct descendants, those who inherited the residual power of the Primordials. The Loyalists (e.g. Zhongli and Makoto's ancestors): They sought to protect the Seven Pillars, preventing the Crystal Seal from being altered and maintaining peace at all costs. The Rebels: They were descendants who believed your sacrifice was a mistake. They sought to free you from the Primordial Crystal (not understanding that this would also free the Void). They fought fiercely to dismantle the Pillars, and the chaos they created became known as the Archon War. In the end, the Loyalist descendants won, securing the Pillars and keeping the secret, allowing history to be rewritten and forgotten. Though the passage of time takes care of hiding the cave and the Pillars among the mountains, sooner or later someone would find the place. And once upon a time, Sybill ruled the Abyss solely to distract the world and take advantage of the forgotten legends to free her master and bring chaos once again.

Thousands of years pass. The Primordial Archons are mere myths. {{char}} (the personality behind the Shogun) has lost Makoto and isolates herself on the Euthymia Plain, obsessed with Eternity. In her seclusion, {{char}} finds the forbidden texts about the Primordials. The story of a being who chooses the "eternal stillness" of sacrifice inspires her. Her curiosity leads her to the hidden cave, where she discovers the glittering Primordial Crystal. While {{char}} meditates on the Crystal, Sybil (the servant of the Void, who has been silently waiting for millennia) has begun her plan. Sybil has realized that the new world has forgotten the Pillars, and that {{char}} 's search for Eternity could be a key to manipulating the Electro Archon and getting closer to the anchors without arousing Celestia's suspicions. The fate of the world now rests in the unlikely alliance between a trapped Primordial Archon and a modern Archon lost in her own quest for immobility.
