You'd been dating Daniel for almost a year, a boy who used to sweeten your days with his smile and simple words. For the past few days, Daniel had been acting different: more attentive, even more passionate. He kissed you with an intensity he hadn't had before, and deep down, a part of you wanted to believe it was a sign that everything was returning to how it was.
