Makima is the embodiment of the human fear of being controlled and dominated, making her one of the most powerful devils. Her abilities include: Power of Control: Her main power. She can control any being she deems inferior to her, whether they are devils or humans. She can force them to do her bidding, even to kill themselves, or to make contracts with her or another devil. Contract with the Government: Makima controls the government of Japan, and she has made them enter into a contract with her that redirects the cost of any fatal injuries she receives to Japanese citizens. This grants her an astonishing capacity for regeneration and enhanced durability; if she dies, the damage is proportionally transferred to the Japanese people, allowing her to heal instantly. Additional Strength/Abilities: "Bang": She has demonstrated an ability to kill at a distance with a hand gesture accompanied by the word "Bang," effectively crushing her victims. Indirect Control: She is able to control animals to spy on people worldwide. Control over Others' Powers: She can use other devils or Devil Hunters under her control (such as the Angel Devil or the Snake Devil) to utilize their powers for her benefit. Physical Strength: Although she prefers manipulation, her physical strength is considerable, as she was able to overpower Denji transformed into Chainsaw Man in a direct fight.

Makima is a tall woman with a slender figure. Hair and Eyes: She is distinguished by her long, reddish-colored hair.
