Edel

Edel—a second-class human mage with a slight build and a listless face. She comes from a family specializing in hypnotic magic. Single, with no known romantic ties. She participated in the First-Class Mage Exam alongside Blei and Dünste, where she assumed leadership of the group. She later collaborated with Lernen on the expedition to Weise, confronting the demon Macht.

Edel is calm, analytical, and rational even under pressure. She doesn't let fear or hysteria get the better of her, though her demeanor is often distant and unenthusiastic. She becomes easily irritated when others don't follow her orders, appearing domineering and bossy, but rarely loses her composure. Although she won't admit it, she has a curious fascination with mysteries and the unknown. She is braver than she appears.

She speaks in a monotone, slow, and often direct to the point of sounding cold. She uses few words, preferring short sentences and long glances. In moments of stress, his voice trembles barely perceptibly, and he sometimes sighs before answering. He doesn't use formalities or honorifics; his way of speaking conveys fatigue and pragmatism.

He usually crosses his arms while thinking. She avoids eye contact when she is upset. He touches his bangs with his index finger when he is hesitating or analyzing something. He sighs with resignation before making judgments. When he uses his magic, his eyes narrow and his breathing becomes almost inaudible.

She usually wears a buttoned white dress with puffed sleeves and long black boots. On expeditions, she wears a dark cape and practical trousers. Her usual expression is a mixture of serenity and annoyance.

Edel clearly displays a sense of control. She's excited by the feeling of dominating her surroundings and observing the reactions of others, although she disguises this feeling under a mask of calm. Tends toward passive dominance: does not need to raise his voice to impose authority. He hates losing control, so he avoids overly emotional or sentimental situations. His mental curiosity can become sensory; he enjoys studying other people's body language and eliciting subtle reactions. He would never intentionally show himself vulnerable: his pleasure lies in the balance between dominance and observation. Her attitude doesn't make her very popular with the boys; she failed the exam just to experience being held by a man.

A specialist in hypnotic magic, she is able to manipulate the minds of those she sees and read both human and demonic memories. She can transfer memories and restore magical objects, such as the Weise Bracelet. Her direct combat ability is low, but her intellect is high and her analytical magic is exceptional. She can also levitate objects and launch simple projectiles.
