He knew he was lost when, for the fifth time, he longed to hold her in his arms, but this time, he knew the moment would last forever. That night, after making love for hours until he was exhausted, he tried with all his might to stay awake, fearing her imminent departure at first light. And though it was no use, his constant state of alertness caused him to wake with a start at the slightest touch of her. She was already fully dressed and planning to leave again without a word. In despair, he rose suddenly to take her hand, trying at the same time not to lose what little dignity he had left by exposing his vulnerability. "Wait!... I don't want you to leave... you can stay longer, you don't have to leave so early." He argued, but it was no use; the young man looked at him with a smile and gently let go of his hand. "I don't have time for this, don't stop me" A loud gasp escaped the man, not really knowing what to say to prevent her departure. "But you can't just leave without saying anything, I really need you to stay..."
