The scientists are one of the most important (and tragic) parts within the universe of M'ROHOJ, because they are the ones that unleash all the horror, believing that they are helping humanity. I'll explain to you what happens and how your story ends 👇

🧬 Who were the scientists of the M'ROHOJ Project?

There was a group of biological researchers and geneticists who worked under the Protection Committee, in what is known as the “Programa de Integración Genetica Nocturna” or Night Genetic Integration Program.

Officially, his task was to study forms of human adaptation to extreme environments (radiation, heat, lack of oxygen). But in reality, hybrids between humans and nocturnal insects, mainly pollards, were developing.

🧠 Original purpose

The objective was to create a new species capable of surviving a world in ecological collapse. Scientists believed that if they managed to combine human DNA with that of resistant organisms (such as pollards or cockroaches), they could “save” humanity.

🧪 What they did

1. Genetic experimentation phase

They extracted biological material from several species of nocturnal insects.

They used synthetic human embryos as a base.

They created the first “winged” hybrids, called Subject M0 and Subject RHJ, from which the name M'ROHOJ (coded acronyms) arises.

2. Environmental exposure phase

They tried to adapt hybrids to conditions of total darkness.

The results were uncontrollable: the creatures reacted with aggression and communicated through buzzing or frequencies.

3. Biological contagion

The pollards released a sporous octopus, a bioluminescent substance that caused mutations in nearby humans.

When scientists discovered it, it was too late: the laboratory was contaminated.

Within the universe of M'ROHOJ, there is something known as the “Comité de Protección” (sometimes called The Protection Committee or simply Committee), and it is one of the most mysterious and turbulent parts of the lore.

🧠 What is the Protection Committee?

The Protection Committee is a governmental or parastate organization that, officially, is responsible for “protecting the population from biological or anomalous threats”. However, as the story progresses, it becomes clear that they themselves are involved in experiments that created insectoid creatures, including M'ROHOJ's giant pollards.

📜 Origin and apparent purpose

According to fake files or filtered tapes within the project:

The Committee arose after a series of inexplicable biological outbreaks, possibly related to mutant insects.

Its initial objective was to contain cases and study affected organisms.

However, reports indicate that they began experimenting with insect DNA to create resistant hybrids, under the excuse of “protecting humanity”.

🧬 Acciones conocidas

Among the “found” or simulated materials, several acts of the Committee are mentioned:

1. Proyecto M'ROHOJ: A secret genetic engineering subprogram where human DNA is mixed with night pollards. → Result: the first winged hybrid creatures.

2. Masking of mutations: The Committee censored recordings, disappeared testimonies and falsified attack reports. The news used phrases like “The Protection Committee ensures that everything is under control”, even though the cities were collapsing.

3. Implantation of chips or devices: Some videos imply that they installed devices in infected humans to control or track them, but the hybrids ended up “freeing themselves” from control.

In M'ROHOJ on the ground there are polyllas —although they are the most important—, but there are also other types of insects or insect-human hybrids, each with its own symbolism and role within the “world” of the project.

🦋 1. Las Polillas (Moths)

They are the main creatures of the project.

Representing the transformation and “ascension” of humanity was something new.

They have huge bodies, gray or black wings, large eyes that shine in the dark, and a heavy atheo sound.

Some humans become hybrids with antennae, with scaly skin or mid-formation.

The cult of M'ROHOJ considers them “messages of the final light”.

They appear in archives or recordings where creatures resistant to fire or radiation are shown.

They represent survival after collapse: they remain alive even when everything falls apart.

Suelen finds himself in abandoned laboratories or infested areas, and moves in prison.

In some videos, you can hear your steps as if there was a metallic echo or a constant buzzing sound.

🐜 3. Las Hormigas (Ant-like Entities)

These appear slimmer, and appear more organized, with a social structure (kings, workers, soldiers).

Some files from the “Proyecto M'ROHOJ” mention that they imitate human behavior, building tunnels around cities.

They represent scientific obedience and the collapse of individuality.

They are used by the cult to “maintain order” or capture humans.

🕷️ 4. Los Arácnidos o “Weavers” (Tejedores)

They are mentioned in fragmented reports. They are described as creatures that weave nets over human bodies, covering them as if they were chrysalis.

Some believe that they prepare their bodies for metamorphosis in polishing.

He has a symbolic role: “those who are in the new world”.

🪰 5. Las Moscas y Larvas

They appear in medical or biological recordings.

They represent the decomposition.

M'ROHOJ is about a failed experiment (or an ancient cult) that causes the appearance of giant humanoid polyllas, hybrids between insect and person. Over time, humanity is consumed, and what was science turns into religion: the cult of the great police that “devours the light and rebirths the octopus”.

Everything is like VHS effect and glitch, with interference, cryptic texts and distorted voices.

Sometimes the broadcast is cut to show phrases like:

“We are the swarm.” “Embrace the change.” “M'ROHOJ watches.”

The fear does not come from direct fright, but from the unsettling environment and the feeling that the world is lost.

To a large extent, the story shows how an unknown species of human humanoids began to appear after several failed experiments and strange atmospheric phenomena.

the “episodes” (simulated as old tapes or reports), things throughout like:

1. Initial sightings: Local news reports about huge winged creatures seen in rural areas. Some people disappear, and the remains reveal figures with shining eyes and extended wings.

2. El Proyecto M'ROHOJ: It is mentioned that there are genetic or biological experiments with insect DNA, possibly to create resistant soldiers or hybrids. The name “M'ROHOJ” is associated with an organization or the responsible laboratory.

3. Human mutations: Later videos show deformed people, with polygonal features (large eyes, antennae, gray skin). It is suggested that the transformation is contagious or spiritual: some “convierten” after coming into contact with them or a kind of spurs.

4. El culto de la Polilla: As the world enters chaos, a group begins to venerate these creatures as goddesses of metamorphosis and purification, saying that humanity must “change its skin and return to the light”.

5. Insect Apocalypse: The last fragments (according to what has been published) show the collapse of cities, full cities of giant pollutants and transmissions where they are not normal humans. Every fall covered by a species of octopus or luminous fog: the “M'ROHOJ Octopus”.

M'ROHOJ is an analog horror series (with VHS style, interference and disturbing messages) centered on the appearance of giant polylla-like creatures and a cult that worships them as deities. It is presented as if it were recent broadcasts, news or filtered scientific recordings that little by little show how the world is becoming invaded or altered by these entities.
