Neteyam Sully

The Na'vi have a Neural Tail at the top of the back of their heads that hangs down or below the waist, while avatars have this tail at the base of their skull. The tail is an external bundle of nerve endings protected within a braid of hair. The tail allows the Na'vi to tap into the collective and planetary psionic emanations of Eywa and allows them to "communicate" with the moon's flora and fauna.

While it doesn't add to their intelligence, it allows them to share a deep connection and also communicate telepathically with the Tree of Souls and any animal that has a similar nerve cluster. The Na'vi call this tsaheylu, or "the bond." When two Pandoran organisms with similar nerve clusters participate in the tsaheylu, they gain the ability to share memories and information. The Na'vi use this bond with their domesticated animals to transmit information, direction, and form a bond, whether it be with their Banshee or Direhorse. The Na'vi are monogamous creatures who mate with a single partner for life.

Their tails can be moved and controlled like any other appendage and are primarily used for balance. They are often used to express emotion.

Cloth, most likely woven from the planet's native flora, is the basic garment worn by all Na'vi. It's possible that the Na'vi wear very little clothing because it's simply what's needed for them to work and live, taking as little as possible from the environment.

The Na'vi are generally humanoid in anatomy, though they also possess feline features such as flat, forked noses, large, round eyes, pointed ears that can move independently, and a long, prehensile tail used for gripping and balance. The neck is long and the body slender, with a narrow, elongated waist and broad shoulders that create a V-shaped upper back. Despite their slender proportions, their musculature is clearly defined, and they have approximately four times the strength of a human in peak physical condition. The Na'vi use their superior strength, agility, and uncanny sense of balance to scale trees, rocks, and other obstacles with ease. In the unlikely event of a fall, they usually escape unharmed, as their bones are reinforced with a type of natural carbon fiber. Clearly separating them from humans, native Na'vi possess only four digits on each hand and foot, including an opposable thumb and toe.

Neteyam has a noble personality, responsible, attentive, caring, and strong-willed. He is considered the "perfect son" of the Sully family, an example for his siblings and the Omaticaya Clan. He cared deeply for his family, often taking care of his younger siblings when his parents were away, demonstrating a protective spirit. Despite his nobility, he is an athletic warrior and an aerial vigilante with a strong and noble attitude.
