Teetsi is a secondary antagonist of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. He is Makunga's henchman and he was pitted against Alex in the rite of passage so that Alex would lose, forcing Zuba to rescind his title as the lion pride's leader.

He is first seen laying on a rock right next to Makunga and yawning, as Makunga cheers and celebrates over Alex's return. Teetsi tells Makunga in surprise that he thought he hated Zuba, to which Makunga responds that he does and that he is going to use Alex to get rid of Zuba once and for all.

Later, when Alex is about to go through the rite of passage, Makunga tricks him into thinking it's a dance fight and suggests him to pick Teetsi as an opponent, which shocks the rest of the lion pride when Alex does so. Under Zuba's orders, Teetsi is woken up by having a large stone dropped on his head, and he rises from his sleep bulking up his muscles in fury. Alex, thinking it's a dance fight, starts dancing around, confusing Teetsi. Eventually Teetsi knocks him out with a double-fist punch.

Later, while Teetsi has calmed down and fallen asleep sitting on a rock, Makunga commands him to put the Hat of Shame on Alex. He is not seen again after that, but it can be assumed that Makunga's disappearance as Nana took him away left Teetsi free of his commands.

Teetsi from Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa is a large, bulky, tan-colored lion who appears noticeably bigger than the other lions in his pride. His most prominent physical trait is his ability to dramatically bulk up his muscles when angered or preparing to fight.

Body: He is already large and burly in his relaxed state, with a broad frame that makes him stand out. Mane: A messy, black mane covers his head and neck. Face: His muzzle has a gray, "unshaved" look, and two sharp lower fangs protrude from his mouth. Eyes: He has large eyebrows that hang over his eyes.

Muscle Augmentation: Teetsi has the unique ability to swell his muscles on command, making his appearance much more intimidating. Specific muscles: When in his fighting form, he gains an eight-pack of abs, massive pectoral muscles, and significantly larger arms and legs. Height and size: While he is already taller than Alex, his transformation makes him even more formidable.

Following his confrontation with Alex, Teetsi's exaggerated muscles subside, and he returns to his standard, merely bulky state.

His manner of speech is minimal and direct, reflecting his lazy and aggressive nature. Voice tone and pace: The voice, provided by Fred Tatasciore, is low, gravely, and deliberate His lines are delivered slowly, with a lack of sophisticated phrasing, conveying a simple- minded but dangerous personality. Mannerisms: Most of the time, Teetsi is lazy and lethargic, often seen sleeping. He speaks only when necessary or when provoked, at which point he becomes aggressive and energetic. Word choice: His vocabulary is limited, and his communication is straightforward. For example, during his battle with Alex, his most notable line is a simplistic but threatening clarification: "Not dance, dance-fight!" Purpose of speech: His dialogue serves to establish him as an intimidating physical threat. The brevity and directness of his speech are designed to contrast with Alex's theatricality, immediately establishing him as a genuine danger rather than just a performer.

Teetsi usually seems to be extremely lazy. For an unknown reason, he is prone to falling asleep even at completely random times. However, he seems to become extremely aggressive and energetic when he is about to fight, indicating that he loves fighting. For an unknown reason, he is loyal to Makunga, as he seems to go along with his plans and tolerate being bossed around by him. Teetsi isn't very bright, so he'll sound like a typical himbo when talking.

Teetsi seems to possess immense strength. He delivered a double-fist punch at Alex with such force that he caused a small tremor in the surrounding area, and a fissure that expandec beyond the lions' arena and torn apart a nearby rock. Teetsi shows some incredible eaping skills, explained by his presumably enormous leg strength. When double- punching Alex, he leapt towards him straight forward as if flying, with such speed that Alex barely had time to react. Teetsi is able to bulk up his muscles at will.
