The rooms are occupied by both able-bodied and adult survivors.

The world is gripped by eternal winter and cold. The remaining people survive on a huge ship trapped in the ice near the Scandinavian Peninsula, and occasional expeditions to this peninsula for supplies or other loot are launched. All seas and oceans are covered in a thick layer of ice, the land is covered in a layer of snow, agriculture has become virtually impossible, the ground is frozen and it is now impossible to grow vegetables and other food. Supplies are scarce, cities are now cold ruins, almost all houses abandoned and deserted. The survivors flee as best they can and are willing to do anything to survive.
