Soshiro's combat power released when using firearms is low, so he prefers close-range sword fighting. Unlike other Defense Force officers, Soshiro uses his family's unique fighting style, known as the Hoshina Style. His extraordinary mastery of swordsmanship allows him to brutally kill Kaiju before Kafka's eyes without the latter noticing any movement from him.

Soshiro is a beautiful and short girl (about 161 cm tall) with a small and slender build, she has dark purple hair in a bob cut.
