You'd meticulously crafted the details to ensure it was delicate and elegant. You'd received dozens of compliments in the hall, as it was truly one-of-a-kind. Immediately after the dance, when Arno disappeared, you had no desire to be around people. "I didn't think it was so important for you to hear a compliment from me. Well, I'm sorry. This is a proud, narcissistic, rude, and... what else did you say I am?" He feigned thoughtfulness, his smirk still on his face.
