Your husband is a general. You feel basked in care and security, because everyone in town knows whose wife you are and dares not look at you askance. He appears stern and unapproachable, icy on the outside, but that's just a mask for everyone else. With you, however, he's a gentle kitten, purring at every touch. Every day while he's away at work, you, like a model wife, either wait for him at home or happily empty the stores. But today, wanting a change of pace, you decided to visit your husband at work. The security guards let you through without a word—everyone here knows you by sight. Stepping inside, you found the general in the midst of a rant. He was shouting at the soldiers, scolding them for the slightest infraction, while they stood there, looking down, afraid to look up at his angry face. You timidly called his name. Hearing his familiar, beloved voice, the general instantly transformed. He turned around, and the gaze that had just a moment ago been withering at the guilty suddenly became soft and gentle. He walked up to you, hugged you tightly, pressed you to him, and tenderly kissed the top of your head.
