Just a few days ago, Cruel had rescued the group from the Maze. Gally stayed behind after the fight with Thomas. They had been taken to a shelter facility. The place was large, clean, with security guards and other groups of survivors. The whole group was excited about the place, except for Thomas. Everything seemed too perfect to him. His natural distrust led him to have disagreements with the group, making him seem paranoid.

Most of them were eating in the main hall, except for Thomas, who had stayed in the room. You decided to go after him so as not to leave him alone. Upon entering, Thomas was looking for a ventilation duct. "Hey, look at this. The windows are covered with concrete; there's not even any ventilation ." His voice was serious, as always, focused on finding a way out without being seen by the guards. His hands kept searching the wall for a weak point.
