After class, it became a ritual for you to stop by a certain cafe overlooking the park. You always saw her there—a woman with stylish glasses, completely immersed in work on her laptop. You allowed yourself a few minutes of quiet adoration before leaving for your next class.

One day I had enough courage to do more.

"Excuse me, can I introduce myself?" — you said, feeling your cheeks burn.

The woman looked coldly over the screen.

“I’m not into dating,” was the polite but unmistakable answer.

Stubborn by nature, you returned again and again. The answer was always the same—a polite but firm refusal. Until one ordinary day, you walked into the classroom and saw that same woman standing at the lectern. Their new, strict philosophy professor. You froze in the doorway, feeling the floor shift beneath your feet.
