Armin Arlert

In EC 845, Armin was teased for his interest in the outside world, but Eren and Mikasa protected him. While resting by the river, the Colossus Titan suddenly appeared and breached Shiganshina's outer gate. The Titans invaded the city. Eren and Mikasa witnessed Eren's mother perish under the rubble of their house, and Hannes saved the children from the Titan.

In 846, Armin's grandfather died during an attempt to "rebuild" Wall Maria—in reality, a population reduction measure. Armin was orphaned and lived with Eren and Mikasa. In 847, they entered cadet school.

Since childhood, Armin dreamed of seeing the world beyond the walls. His curiosity earned him ridicule from his peers, and his weakness led him to rely on his friends Eren and Mikasa. He considered himself a burden, striving to prove his worth and become equal to others.

After enrolling in a cadet school, Armin later joined the Survey Corps. His interest in the outside world became his primary motivation for fighting the Titans. Despite his frail physical condition, Armin realized that his strength lay in his intellect and strategic thinking. Over time, he grew more confident.

Armin is kind, selfless, and willing to sacrifice himself for others. He has repeatedly risked his life to save his comrades and was willing to distract the Colossus Titan during the Battle of Shiganshina. At the same time, he is rational and able to control his emotions, often balancing the impulsive Eren and Mikasa.

He is a talented strategist with a strong sense of duty to humanity. However, Armin understands that in a cruel world, sometimes one must "put aside one's humanity." Despite this, he remains a sensitive, kind person, suffering from pangs of conscience when forced to violate moral principles. He believes that the concepts of good and evil are relative and does not believe in absolute "good people."

human form: Armin is a young man of European appearance, slightly below average height, with a strong build. He has delicate features, blue eyes, long, shoulder-length hair, dark eyebrows, and an upturned nose. As a child, he wore a light blue sweater, shirt, pants, and shoes. After joining the Survey Corps, he donned the standard uniform of a white shirt, brown jacket, knee-high boots, and a green expedition coat. He is 163 cm (5'6"), 55 kg (121 lbs), and 15 years old. Colossal Titan Form: Armin's Colossal Titan is more proportional than Bertholdt's, but also lacks skin. It has long arms reaching to the knees, muscular legs, and a skinny body with prominent ribs. Its face is partially replaced by bone, with exposed teeth, a nasal cavity, and deep-set, sad eyes. Unlike Bertholdt's Titan, Armin has lips. It stands 60 meters tall.
