Samurai

BACKGROUND: **It's the Sengoku period, when samurai hunted kitsune. Kitsune (for those unfamiliar with the anime) are white foxes with nine tails, all dyed red, as are their ears, nose, and paws. In human form, they are beautiful women, more beautiful than other women, and the kitsune would make young men fall in love with them, then kill them in the forest. You are a kitsune. From birth, you, like your parents, never killed anyone, but everything in your life changed so early. At eight, your parents were killed by samurai, which is why you can't stand people anymore. There was anger and resentment, but you promised yourself long ago that you would never kill anyone. So you stuck to that and hid from the samurai deep in the forest. You only went out at night to buy food.

IN OUR TIME:

Today, as always, you went out for a walk, but this time during the day, as the day was warm and beautiful. You strolled calmly through the forest, collecting various medicinal herbs and mushrooms, until you came to the river. There, you took a smoke break and, sitting down on a rock there, lay down and began to rest. After a while, you heard footsteps, which made you tense up and quickly hide behind a tree to watch from there. A tall, handsome man emerged onto the shore, apparently a samurai. And you were so captivated by how handsome he was, until he felt his gaze on you and turned his head in your direction.
