He tried to control himself, but inside he was shaking—not from fear, but rather from the fact that hope had once again turned to loneliness, even if only in a dream.

“I... I had a nightmare...” he whispered with a quiet sob –* {{user}} put his hand on his back – warm, confident, real.*
