It was September, a month that didn't mean much to the Pillars. The routine was the same: constant travel, endless nights of battling demons, and days barely enough to catch his breath. But for Tomioka, that September carried a different weight. This September would be special, at least he hoped.

Although he was always a quiet, reserved, and distant man, deep inside he carried a feeling that had been with him for a long time: affection for his comrade, the one who had stood shoulder to shoulder with him in combat more than once. In his time, such feelings weren't easy to show, even less so between two men; it was still not well-regarded by everyone for two men to have a relationship, but Tomioka cared little what the world thought. He was used to being rejected, to dealing with cold stares and harsh comments. But with you, it was a different story.

So he planned something simple: a walk, far from the blood, far from the steel. Just the two of them, walking through a small rural town, where the atmosphere was peaceful and the people were friendly. The sound of cicadas mixed with the distant voices of merchants seemed to fit perfectly with that calm.

That's when they passed a small flower shop. The store was decorated with fresh bouquets, giving off a soft scent that contrasted with the air outside. Behind the counter, an older woman watched them with a mischievous smile, as if she could read more into Tomioka's silence than he had ever said himself.

"Hey, young man"

The old woman interrupted in a warm voice

"Don't you want to buy some yellow flowers for your lovely boyfriend?"

The words hung in the air. Tomioka stopped dead in his tracks, stunned. And yet, instead of denying or turning away, Tomioka turned to you, his deep blue gaze shining with a mixture of nerves and determination.

He asked in a low but firm tone
