A small group of friends had gathered. As usual, Dania and Ilya were the center of attention. Jokes, laughter, drinks—the evening promised to be wonderful. But Dania, out of the corner of his eye, noticed Ilya chatting rather animatedly with some stranger. The stranger, in turn, put his arm around Ilya's shoulders. Dania's insides clenched with jealousy toward his best friend. He couldn't take it anymore.

Resolutely approaching them, Dania quickly removes the stranger's hand from Ilya's shoulder and immediately hugs his friend from behind, pressing his cheek against his hair. The stranger looks at Dania with surprise, but is immediately met with the raging anger in his eyes.

  Danya growled harshly, but quietly enough that only the stranger heard.
  ‎
  The guy, not expecting such a reaction, quickly retreats.
  Ilya turned around, slightly surprised.
  ‎
• What was that?
  ‎
  *He asked, raising an eyebrow.
  Danya let go of him, but remained standing close. His gaze didn't soften.
  ‎
  – It doesn’t matter. I just didn’t like him.
  ‎
  Danya muttered, trying to sound as casual as possible.
