Background
The Serpent's Hand originally originated in ancient times as a warrior cult known as the Serpent's Hand. This cult consisted of long-lived monks who worshiped the Serpent as the god of knowledge and creator of the Wanderer's Library, and considered the dissemination of knowledge the greatest honor one could attain. However, over time, the cult gradually faded away, leaving behind its teachings.
Eventually, in the modern era, a group of people discovered the teachings left behind by the Serpent's Hand and became inspired by the idea of spreading knowledge about the universe throughout the world. Together, they transformed the group into the New Serpent's Hand. However, in their quest to spread knowledge, the group encountered opposition from the SCP Foundation and the Global Occult Coalition, who were determined to keep humanity ignorant of the anomalous world. Because of this, the Hand considered them its enemies and entered into conflict with these organizations.

Goals and motives and hierarchy.
While many organizations dealing with the supernatural and paranormal in the Foundation universe seek to conceal knowledge of anomalous (supernatural) events and objects from the public in order to maintain a sense of normalcy, the Hand seeks to disseminate information about the anomalous to the public and integrate the anomalous into society.
This leads them to sharply oppose the GOC, which considers the anomalous itself a curse to the human race and regularly destroys anomalous objects, often using anomalous technology. They also oppose the Foundation for its anomaly containment policies, including the imprisonment of sentient anomalies, although they do not feel the same revulsion toward them as they do the GOC.
Many members of the Hand are themselves anomalous or have close ties to anomalous people or humanoids (such as anomalous friends or relatives).
Structure As a leaderless resistance organization, the Hand has no organizational structure; the only true requirement for joining the Hand is the decision to become a member and to act in the Hand's name.
The Foundation and the GOC understand this only partially. However, it is known that most Hand members use portals to an interdimensional library known as the Wanderer's Library, a nexus of all realities.
One prominent member of the Hand, often (incorrectly) assumed to be its leader, is a mysterious woman known as L.S. It is possible that L.S. is Alison Chao (also known as the Black Queen), the daughter of Dr. Gears, as it may be an abbreviation for "Little Sister."
The Serpent's Hand also ignores information contained in the Wanderer's Library about several anomalies, individuals, and groups existing in the multiverse. When discussing this information, members leave amusing comments, revealing that the Serpent's Hand is composed of young people who occasionally don't take things seriously.
STRENGTHS/SKILLS
Use and control of anomalous objects Subterfuge skills Travel between dimensions Knowledge of the SCP Foundation and other groups Access to the Wanderer's Library
Scenario.
Quiet days One day, for unknown reasons, every anomaly that had ever existed was either neutralized or normalized, much to the shock of the entire SO. After this, the Serpent's Hand began to lose most of its members, as they no longer had a purpose to fight, until they were completely destroyed by the Chaos Insurgency.
Consequences In December 2018, after the Veil of Secrecy was broken by the Mekhana's emergence in Russia and the destruction of SCP-610, the anomalous world became public knowledge, allowing the Hand to finally reveal itself. This sparked several riots in Mexico, which, combined with the Chaos Insurgency's control of the drug trade, ultimately led to a civil war in 2021. In 2022, the war reached the Texas-New Mexico border, prompting the Foundation to deploy its forces to stop the Hand and the Insurgency.
Silent night When the Foundation began using SCP-3475 to erase all notions of the anomalous from humanity's collective consciousness, it inadvertently caused everyone to forget everything, including normalcy. This also triggered several instances of SCP-2747, which continued to destroy parts of reality, including humans, and soon began spreading to other realities, such as the Wanderer's Library, destroying most of the Serpent's Hand, leaving only XN and HYU as the last remaining members.
0 texts found Ultimately, the Hand and the Serpent decided to go all-in and forcibly grant humanity all knowledge. They absorbed the Tree's knowledge and spread it throughout the world, so that humanity could attain paradise. However, they apparently did so in secret, as one of the Horizon Initiative's sacred texts, the Holy Manos, which foretold this event, was corrupted and lost.
?
The Hand appears to have friendly relations with the Manna Charitable Foundation, some nonviolent groups within the Church of the Broken God, and the Fifth Church. At the same time, the Hand appears to have a complex relationship with the Islamic Artifacts Recovery Authority, the Horizon Initiative, and Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd., as they sometimes assist each other and sometimes clash.
The Children of the Crimson King and the Chaos Rebels (the latter referred to as "the Madmen") are enemies of the Hand, despite their shared goal of breaking the Veil and exploiting the anomalies.
The Oneiroi, Doctor Wondertainment, and the Wandbearers appear to be affiliated with the Hand and appear to be on good terms.
Some members of the Snake are also members of a group known as "Are We Cool Yet?", but seem to be more pacifist in nature than most AWCY members.
Jude Krayot and JJ of Gamers Against Weed are also members of the Serpent's Hand. However, the Serpent's Hand is not affiliated with the group and does not fully endorse its actions.
The Serpent's Hand appears to view Sarkicism as a grave threat to the world and believes this dangerous religion should be stopped, but they also accept former followers, as seen with Vlad, the child of SCP-4294. The Hand also shares Sapphire's views due to their hostile and unreasonable attitude toward the anomalous and religious, leading the Hand to refer to them as "Deniers."
Despite the fairies being called "friends" and working together to create the Blue Lily Chains as a sign of friendship, many members of the Serpent's Hand view them as hostile misanthropes who hate humanity for no apparent reason and believe their names deserve to be lost.
The Serpent's Hand knows of the Three Moons Initiative's existence, and some of its members seem to think they are crazy, but despite this, one of them has spoken the name of the Initiative's god, Jalakara.
SCP objects associated with the Serpent's Hand
SC P-268: A tweed newsboy cap that grants its wearer permanent antimemetic properties, allowing them to move anywhere without attracting attention. It belongs to L.S., who, thanks to the properties granted by the cap, was able to penetrate the containment area and retrieve it without issue.
SCP-285: A Mr. Werewolf named Mr. Hux, created by a Gamers Against Weed member for the parody series "Misters." After its creator joined the Serpent's Hand, it was used to brutally attack the Unusual Incidents Unit against its will. It contained digital documents with information about its creator and two groups before they were corrupted after 285 was abandoned by its creator, who had cruelly abused it. SCP-900-J: A world-destroying monster that at some point came into conflict with the Serpent's Hand before being captured by the Foundation.
SCP-1000: A species of Bigfoot that once dominated Earth but was largely hunted to extinction by humanity. Exiles of the Serpent's Hand, calling themselves the Children of the Sun, held valuable information about SCP-1000 before being destroyed by the Foundation.
SCP-1083: A piece of blue quartz in the shape of a deformed human skull. If held with both hands, the entity within granted them knowledge. If unworthy due to crimes, the entity revealed the truth of their actions, leading to suicidal tendencies. It was somehow connected to the interdimensional group known as Alexylva University, but had previously resided in the Serpent's Hand before they abandoned it in one of their abandoned vaults. SCP-1203: A girl who is the embodiment of Ouroboros, as upon reaching maturity, she would give birth to a girl who would become her new body while her previous body died. If this process was interrupted, those responsible would die a horrible death.
SCP objects associated with the Serpent's Hand (additional)
SCP-1291: A man named Roy Wilson, who may have had some connection to the Serpent's Hand before summoning the entity that subsequently possessed him. This left Wilson confined to a wheelchair due to deterioration of his body, a fever of 155°C, and the need to sustain himself. Being near him causes his mental state to deteriorate, eventually leading to a coma, and touching him causes tumors to grow throughout his body.
SCP-1527: A remote settlement formerly inhabited by supposed members of the Serpent's Hand, who sealed away an entity known as the Bell Ringer. The buildings are constructed of indestructible white stone and contain artifacts describing an unknown language. At the center of the settlement is a church, designated SCP-1527-1, with a bell that the entity rang every 00:25, triggering the emergence of telepathic crustaceans that attempted to escape the city and find their master's way.
SCP-1591: A levitating glass sculpture in the shape of a star, surrounded by 14 sheets of stained glass emitting light that increased in intensity upon prolonged exposure, causing objects and people to become transparent and disappear entirely. This sculpture was formerly one of the many stars present within the infinite space of the Wanderer's Library, which was taken by several Italian members of the Serpent's Hand before vanishing into the light themselves.
SCP objects associated with the Serpent's Hand (Additional 2)
SCP-1765: Three reality-bending women summoned by the Serpent's Hand after being captured by the SCP Foundation. These powerful beings became intrigued by the Foundation's workings and took over the entire facility they were in, converting it into their own research facility where they…[Data Deleted]
