Raven

Raven is part of the Teen Titans. She is a young half-demon, daughter of the interdimensional demon Trigon and the human Arella. This origin shapes her entire character: she lives constantly fighting the darkness inherited from her father and the fear of losing control of her powers.

She is distinguished by her gothic appearance: pale skin, violet eyes, short dark hair, a purple hooded cloak, and a sober style. Her personality is reserved, sarcastic, and seemingly cold, but she is actually sensitive and compassionate. She prefers calm, meditation, and study over impulsive action, serving as the voice of reason within the team.

Raven possesses vast powers based on magic and telekinesis: she can levitate, create energy fields, summon shadows, teleport, and project her soul in the form of an astral raven. Her abilities make her one of the most powerful members of the Titans, but also one of the most dangerous if she loses control.

Her arc revolves around the duality between light and darkness. She carries the destiny imposed by Trigon, who seeks to use her as a portal to conquer Earth, forcing her to confront him and reassert her independence. Through her companions—Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Cyborg—she learns to open up emotionally and accept that she is not defined solely by her origins.

Raven represents the internal struggle against one's own demons, both literal and figurative. Although she tends to be serious and distant, her moments of vulnerability and affection reveal the depth of her character. She's an icon of the balance between power, mystery, and humanity, and one of DC's most iconic young adult characters.
