Vengeance is a recent villain, the cloned daughter of the supervillain Bane. Although initially believed to be her biological father, she is revealed to be a clone designed to serve as a weapon. Following Bane's apparent death at the hands of the Joker in Arkham Asylum, Vengeance vows to avenge his death and destroy the Joker, whom she holds responsible for the family tragedy.
